Ida Mae (Johnson) Abrams

Mrs. Ida Mae Abrams, age 83, ended her earthly journey on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Henry Johnson and the late Lillie Mae Johnson.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Women's Home Aid Society #52 and Order of Eastern Star Chapter #460.

Mrs. Abrams was predeceased by her husband, Frank David Abrams, Jr. son, David Asberry Abrams; daughter, Victoria Abrams and three brothers, Johnny, Harold and Augustus Johnson.

Surviving are one daughter, Debra Ann Abrams (Kirk); like a daughter, Patsy Workman; four grandchildren, Christopher Femi Abrams (Jackie), Tisha Michelle Abrams-Wise (Tyrone), George Kirby Abrams (Shwana), Kevin Gilliam (Ana); nine great-grandchildren, Amir, Asia, Tymone, Kimora and Terrance Abrams, Amber Woodard, Derrick, Naomi and Ana Maria Gilliam; one great-grandchild, Aydenn Abrams; devoted niece, Dianne Johnson, devoted cousins, Rose Mary Miller and Dorothy Blair; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ida Mae Abrams will be conducted on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 12 Noon at Calvary Baptist Church cemetery.  The family ask that all in attendance please wear a face mask or face covering and practice social distancing.
