Herman Colby Samuels,

Funeral services for Herman Colby Samuels will be conducted on Friday, September 27,  2019 at 1:00 PM at Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church 3458 State Rd S-36-342, Newberry, SC 29108.  Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Colby  was born January 23, 2001, in Newberry, SC, to Herman and Reshell Samuels. He departed this earthly life and entered into the arms of Jesus on September 20, 2019.

Colby attended school in Newberry County and graduated from Aiken County School June 7, 2019. At both schools Colby participated in football and track. While attending both schools he made lots of friends. He always had lots of energy wanting to go places, couldn’t stay in the house. Colby liked to have fun everywhere he went.

Colby loved life itself. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Ridge Spring, SC.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents Herman and Reshell Samuels; sisters, Brandis and Latonya Samuels, and nephew, Grayson Rouse all of the home in Johnston, S.C; Jacqueline Samuels of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Rashawn Samuels of Carlise, SC,  Tabias Brooks of Newberry SC; Herman Samuels, Jr. of St. Paul Minnesota; Sister, Jaqueline Samuels of Oklahoma City, OK; maternal grandmother, Mary Brooks of Newberry SC; paternal grandmother, Viola Jerry of Ridge Spring SC; twelve aunts, ten uncles; and a host of cousins and friends.
