Gregory S. Hunter

Mr. Gregory Hunter passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Springfield Place at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Gregory Hunter was born October 14, 1967 to Wilbert Hunter and the late Laura Ann Jones Hunter.  He attended Newberry County Public Schools and retired early from PCA.

Mr. Hunter was predeceased by brothers, Rodney Hunter and Gerald Hunter, grandparents, Henry Jones and Dorothy Mae Richardson.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Addie Simes; two sisters, Ruth Wheeler and Roxanne (Berry) Good all of Newberry, SC; brother, Andre Hunter of Newberry, SC; two uncles, J. B. Jones and Anthony Ashley of Columbia, SC; two aunts, Willie Mae (Peter) Suber of Newberry, SC and Annie Mae Ellis of Kinards, SC; seven nieces, ten nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.  Viewing will be on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
