George William Long

Mr. George William Long, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Generations of Batesburg.

He was born on February 25, 1957 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late James William Long and the late Nancy Mae Mars Long.   He was a graduate of Newberry High School.

Mr. Long was predeceased by siblings. Eliza Toland, Evelyn Johnson, Willie Long and Lucy Hiller.

Surviving are sisters, Edith Long, Nancy Long, Vida Long and Zina Long (Davis); brothers, James Long and Calvin Long all of Newberry, SC; nieces and nephews, Clayton Long, Sr., Bobby Long, Carol Johnson, Clayton Long, Jr., Lisa Toland, Zenda Toland McClurin, Jessica Toland, Stephanie Davis, Sierra Davis and Trisla Davis, other relatives and friends.

Funeral plans are incomplete.
