George Graham Obituary
Mr. George Graham was born December 4, 1938 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late AJ Graham and the late Carrie Williams Graham. He passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
Mr. Graham became a member of Pleasant Grove AME Church after retiring and moving back to South Carolina from Jersey City. He attended and graduated from the city schools of Greenwood, SC.
Mr. Graham was preceded by his wife, Dorothy Graham of 58 years, July 23, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory, sons, Reginald Graham and Kevin (Denise) Graham both of Newberry, SC; sister, Nancy (Kendall) Murray; brothers, Luther (Josephine) Graham, Johnny (Margie) Graham, Jeffery Graham, Jimmie (Mary) Graham, Samuel Graham and Larry (Martha) Graham; five grandchildren, Raekwon, Chianca, Reggie, Kevin, Jr. and Keisha Graham; devoted nephew, Willie (Etta) Graham; sisters-in-law, Edith Snowden and Delores (George) Taylor; brothers-in-law, Alex, James and Tom Cooper and a host of caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Pleasant Grove AME Church. Public viewing will be on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pratt Funeral. A mask is required to enter the funeral home.
