Mr. Frederick Denshenko Goree was born January 18,1975 in Newberry, South Carolina. God called him home July 8, 2020.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Cannon Goree jr. Fred was raised in Newberry, South Carolina and was educated in Newberry County Public Schools.  One meeting with "Fred",  "Black", "Big Boy" and "Big Go", you knew, first hand the impact he would leave on you.  Fred was a man who committed his life to ensuring that those around him were better.

He attended Oak Grove Presbyterian Church where he learned the principles of God and then applied them to his community.  Fred's impact on the community was evident by his numerous years of coaching flag football and coaches pitch baseball for the Newberry County Recreation Department.  The lasting impression he made on the youth of the Newberry Community will not easily be forgotten.

He also fulfilled his civic duty as a member of the Masonic Lodge Fellowship Post 218. He was also the owner of Cut'N Up Lawn Care Service and a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Fred joined a host of family angels that preceded him in death to include his parents, grandparents; Fannie Cannon, Joesph Goree Sr., Lucille Chaplin Goree.  He was also preceded by Larry Cannon and god mother Estelle Ruff.

Fred leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted companion, Tameka Harmon and shared a special bond with Jalen Caldwell both of the home. 3 sisters, Teresa Elkins,  Renita (Terrence) Bookman, and LaTunga (Thomas) Worthy. 4 nephews, Terell Elkins, Paris Bailey, Javon Bailey and Terrence Bookman Jr. 4 nieces, Shekeria (Tyrell) Prentice, Taiyah Bookman, Ashari Bookman, Tiauni Lindler and Tamari Worthy. Aunts,  Margaret (Steven) Shuemate (Brooklyn NY), and Betty Dawkins Madison (TN), Godmother Anna Lee Caldwell and Godfather Wyman Burton. And a host of special family and friends. Fred had such a loving personality that everyone became family to him.  This gentle giant with such a big heart will forever be missed.
