Mrs. Fannie Mae Boozer Wilson affectionately known as "Shake" was born on November 11, 1953 to the late James Boozer and the late Fannie Suber Boozer. She entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center.
Mrs. Wilson joined James Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age. She was educated in the Newberry County Public Schools. After graduating from Gallman High School in the "70's", she held various jobs, until finding her true passion of being a caretaker for over 30 years. She was a CNA, Med. Tech. and Physical Therapy Aide.
Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by brothers, Thomas and James Boozer; sisters-in-law, Betty Boozer, Sherry Suber, Dorothy Gallman and Arcelia Dowdy.
Mrs. Wilson leaves to cherish memories her husband, Arthur P. Wilson; son, Travis Pratt (Nikki) of Spartanburg, SC; adopted daughter, Felicia Coleman (Dave) of Newberry, SC; grandsons, Imaurion and Ijavion Cheek reared in the home, Izayah Cooper and Israel Cooper of Newberry, SC; granddaughters, Lihanna and Lakiera Kennedy reared in the home and Kaitlyn Pratt of Newberry, SC; nieces, Betty Gallman of Newberry, SC, Carmella Boozer of Temple Hills, MD and Lydia (Kayode) Onanugas of Ellicott City, MD; nephews, Anthony and Thomas Boozer of Silverstreet, SC; brothers-in-law, Calvin, Steve and Otis Wilson all of Newberry, SC; James Wilson of Clinton, SC, Bruce Wilson of Laurens, and Phil Wilson of Arizona; sisters-in-law, Linda Wilson of N. C., Sheila Wilson of Spartanburg, SC and Beatrice Boozer of Temple Hills, MD; devoted friends, Delores Long and Connie Spearman; Katrasha Harmon and Ashley Cheek held a special place in her heart; she is also survived by a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. A mask is required to enter the funeral home.
