Elder Anderson C Gray

Funeral services for Elder Anderson C. Gray, age 76, affectionately known as "Pop Gray", will be conducted on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

Elder Gray passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late David V. Gray and the late Adell M. Gray.  He was the pastor of Prayer and Faith Ministries COGIC in Hodges, SC.  Elder Gray was a retired United States Army veteran.

Elder Gray was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Nance.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha L. Gray; daughters, Denise R. Gray of Spartanburg, SC; Connie Caldweld; Lakeica Bell of Riverside, NJ; sons, Clarence T. Gray of Indianapolis, IN; David A. Gray of Charlotte, NC; Anderson C. Gray of Gaffney, SC; Parnell Pass of Browns Mill, NJ; sister, Vernelle Bouknight and brother, David V. Gray both of Boston, MA; two uncles, 27 grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
