Eddie (Boo Pie) Marvin Wise

Mr. Eddie Marvin Wise, age 57, died on September 12, 2020 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.  

Mr. Wise was born in Newberry County, SC to the late Marvin Oscar Dawkins and Mary Emma Dawkins.

He attended Newberry County schools.  He was employed at Jesse F. Hawkins Nursing Home, Amick Farms. Eddie was affectionately know and called " Boo Pie" and Polo.

Eddie loved everyone and tried to help older people and kids ( learn to play baseball and basketball. He was a Carolins Panthers fan..   

He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Faye Dawkins; brothers, Timothy Love Dawkins , Kevin Dawkins his Grandmother Maude Dawkins.  

Survivors include, his mother, Mary Emma Dawkins of Newberry, sisters, Debra Jean Wise, Vivian Ann Dawkins, Marsha McKeever Dawkins, and Angela Dawkins all of Newberry, SC; brothers, Anthony Dawkins and Rodney Lorenzo Dawkins, both of Newberry, SC; 7 aunts; 4 uncles; a devoted friend, Angela Carter and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Werts Cemetery. All in attendance, please wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
