Earnestine (Walker) Dewalt

Mrs. Ernestine W. Dewalt, age 83,  passed away on Monday, October 25, 2020 at White Oak Manor.

Born in Cayce, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Fletcher G. Walker and the late Susanna Kelly Green.  Mrs. Dewalt was a member of Boozer Chapel Baptist Church where she was the Mother of the Church.  She retired from Counts Sausage after 35 years.

Mrs. Dewalt was predeceased by her husband, 

James E. Dewalt, Sr.; brother, Johnny Walker.

Cherishing her memory are four daughters, Mary Hutcherson of Newberry, SC; Betty Glasgow, Phyllis Dewalt and Tammie Edwards; three sons, Fletcher Walker, James Dewalt, Jr. and Sherman Dewalt all of Prosperity, SC; one sister, Cathy Chiles of Columbia, SC; step0sister, Barbara Ann Gaines of Elizabeth, NJ; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, three sons-in-law, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Boozer Chapel Baptist Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
