The family of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Wicker in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community will have a private, immediate family only graveside service.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Wicker, age 75, of Newberry, SC passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at her home. She was born in Newberry County, SC to the late Eddie Cooper and the late Ader Ruth Edwards Cooper.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Wicker, Jr.

Mrs. Wicker leaves to cherish her daughters, Carolyn Tucker (Larry) of Saluda, SC, Pamela Kessler (Telly Dawkins) of Newberry, SC and Daphne Davenport (Terry) of Midland, Texas; sons, Roosevelt Sims (Janice) of Silverstreet, SC and Grady Wicker (Tonya) of Newberry, SC; sisters, Wilhelmena Hudson of Jacksonville, NC and Linda Mathis (Johnnie) of Newberry, SC; brothers, Woodrow Cooper of McCormick, SC and Robert Cooper of Newberry, SC; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren;  and a host of other relatives and friends.
