Dorothy Graham

Mrs. Dorothy Graham passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Graham was born January 2, 1940 in Kingstree, South Carolina, to the late Alex  Cooper and Louvenia Cooper.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove A. M. E. Church where she served actively on the Steward Board, Usher Board, Class Leader #5 and a Missionary.

Surviving are her husband, George Graham; sons, Reginald Graham and Kevin (Denise) Graham all of Newberry, SC; sisters, Edith Snowden of Rochester, NY and Delores (George) Taylor of Philadelphia, PA; brothers, Alex Cooper of Rochester, NY, James  Cooper and Tom Cooper of Kingstree, SC; five grandchildren, Raekwon, Chianca, Reggie, Kevin, Jr. and Keisha Graham; brothers-in-law, Luther Graham, Johnny (Margie) Graham, Jimmie (Mary) Graham, Larry (Martha Ann) Graham, Jeff Graham and Sammie Graham; sister-in-law, Nancy (Kendall) Murray; a host of caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2021 10:00 AM at Pleasant Grove A. M. E. Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing. Viewing will be on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Memorial Chapel.
