Deborah Vance Obituary

Ms. Deborah Vance, age 62, was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late James Vance and the late Carolyn Elizabeth Maffett Vance. She entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Ms. Vance attended Newberry County Public Schools and Miller Chapel A. M. E. Church.

Ms. Vance was predeceased by her mother, Carolyn Elizabeth Maffett Vance, father, James Vance and a brother, James Maffett.

Ms. Vance is survived by her son, Terrence Vance (Joy Callejas-Vance); sisters, Frances Suber (Vada) and Beverly Vance; brothers, Calvin Vance (Ivey), Jamie Henderson, James Henderson and Marco Williams; granddaughter, Kharalynn Vance; aunt, Bertha Neal, devoted friend, Frank Johnson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Mary's A. M. E. Church Cemetery. A mask is required to enter the funeral home.
