Clarence Eddie Bowers

Mr. Clarence Eddie Bowers, age 59, passed away on March 2, 2021 at his home.

He was born on September 24, 1961 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Leon Bowers and the late Gladys Fields Bowers.  He attended Mid-Carolina High School.  He grew up playing baseball for the Little Mountain Ruritans.   He truly loved playing the game of baseball.

Those who celebrate his life remember his as being flamboyant and very charismatic.  He loved to dress nice and listen to music.  He also loved to dance.

He is survived by one sister, Carolyn Bowers of Greensboro, NC; five brothers, Bishop Larry (Patricia) Bowers of Blackstone, VA; Stanley (Joann) Bowers, Sr., Mikell Bowers all of Little Mountain, SC; Bennie Bowers and Bobby (Jackie) Bowers, Sr. all of Newberry, SC; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who will sorely miss him.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
