Charles Miller

Mr. Charles Miller was born December 10, 1949, to the late Mrs. Louise Miller Cunningham.  He entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home.

He was a faithful a member of Old Beaverdam Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the Usher Board, Brotherhood, and Pastor’s Aid. 

He graduated from Bell Street High School, Clinton, SC (class of 1968) and Piedmont Technical College, Greenwood, SC. 

After his education he served in the military.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.  He also served as First Vice Commander of American Legion Post 219 Newberry, SC for ten years.

Mr. Miller leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 16 years, Geraldine Caldwell Miller, three children, Bridget Cromer (Paul),  Kimbley Moze (Carter) and Bryan Davis;  twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ann Philsen of Clinton, SC and Christine Miller of Greenville, SC; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, and best friend Bennie Wilson (like a brother).

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Miller will be conducted on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Old Beaverdam Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
