Calvin Reubin Gallman

Mr. Calvin Reubin Gallman passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Mr. Gallman was born in Little Mountain, South Carolina to the late Olin Gallman, Sr. and the late Ida Mae Miller Gallman.  He was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, and a member of Men of Faith.  Mr. Gallman was also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha (Theta Nu Chapter) and SCLEAP Law Enforcement Chaplain.  He was a graduate of Columbia High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina.

Surviving are his wife, Lilly Smalls Gallman; daughter, Sarah-Rose Smalls Haigler (Carlton Haigler); son, Christopher Reubin Gallman (Syeeda Reid Gallman) all of Columbia, SC; brother, Olin Gallman, Jr. (Geneva Gallman) of Irmo, SC; two grandchildren, five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
