Billy Albert Nelson

Mr. Billy Albert Nelson was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Benjamin Nelson and the late Victoria Hall Nelson.  He entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Mr. Nelson was predeceased by sisters, Georgia Ruth Glymph, Patricia Sim and Shirley Nelson; brother, Horace L. Nelson.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Palmer of Newberry, SC and Billy Feaster of Columbia, SC; sisters, Margaret Hill of Newberry, SC, Queen Lake of Anderson, SC, Thelma M. Gladney of Lexington, SC and Evenny Lyles of Columbia, SC; brothers, Otis Nelson of Newberry, SC, Johnny Nelson of Thomasville, NC and David Nelson of Newberry, SC; twelve grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah and Victoria Newman, Olivia Bates, Xavier Palmer, Shamya Holley, King Jeter, Ashanti Cromer, LaQuintin Young, Tiara Shontay Fuller, Quintavis Cureton and Chanting Feaster, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Boozer Chapel Baptist Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.  Viewing will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
