Bennie Sims

Mr. Bennie Junior Sims, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home.

Born in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Bennie Sims, Sr. and the late Mildred E. Harmon Sims. He was a graduate of Mid-Carolina High School and a former employee of Kiswire.

Mr. Sims was predeceased by a sister, Cassandra Sims.

Mr. Sims loved being around his family and fishing.

Surviving are his step-mother, Mildred Sims; children, Senchia Wilson (Fernanda) of Newberry, SC; Asia Isenhower (Tyler) of Ft. Hood, TX; Katrina Mathis and Montagus Caldwell both of Newberry, SC; sisters, Brenda Sims and Linda Wright (Albert) of Newberry, SC; Connie Shelton (Victor) of Charlotte, NC; Sabrina Williams (Henry) and Shawn Sims of Newberry, SC; brothers, Lyndell Sims (Rev. Jacqueline) and Tyrone Sims of Newberry, SC; Bennett Sims of Jamaica, NY; four grandchildren, eight aunts, four uncles, nieces, nephews; devoted friends, Timothy Jackson and Devin Glenn.

The Family will be having a celebration of life at 3 PM Sunday May 17, 2020 at 128 James Road. Those attending please be mindful of the Social distancing rules.
