Anthony Williams

Mr. Anthony Williams passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Mr. Williams was born in Pomaria, South Carolina to the late Sammie Leroy Williams and the late Callie Williams.  He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.  He was also a member of Sons of Aide Lodge #48.  He was a former employee of Thomas & Howard and Shakespeare.  Mr. Williams acquired his CDL at the Transport Training Truck Driving School.

Mr. Williams possessed many gifts and talents being a jack of all trades.  He was always willing to help anyone in any way he could.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy L. Williams, grandson, Kamerone Johnson, mother-in-law, Virginia Spearman, and sister-in-law, Miriam Spearman-Caldwell.

Cherishing his memory are his devoted wife, Laconyia "Connie" Spearman-Williams, step-daughter, Latisha (Quention) Johnson, sisters, Floretta Williams of Prosperity, SC, Dorine Booker of Newberry, SC; brothers, Sammi R. Williams and Billy C. Williams of Newberry, SC, Marvin E. Williams of Pomaria, SC, Robert L. Williams and Frank E. Williams of Newberry, SC; three grandchildren, Monterius Hill, Quentin Johnson, Jr. and Quendarius Johnson; two uncles, three aunts, four sisters-in-law, Barbara (Bobby) Chapman, Brenda (Rudy) Williams, Margaret Chaplin and Glenice C. Rutherford, two brothers-in-law, Terry Spearman and devoted Jerry "Pole Cat" Spearman, devoted nephew, Desmond Spearman, and loved and cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as beloved friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel for immediate family only.  Viewing will be from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9,2021 at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.
