Anthony Kinard

Mr. Anthony Kinard was born June 17, 1951 in Newberry, South Carolina , to the late Joe B. Kinard and the late Fannie Mae Toland Kinard.  He entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Kinard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee for many years until his health declined.

Mr. Kinard was predeceased by a sister, Annie Pearl Cromer; brothers, John William Kinard, Steve Kinard and James E. Kinard; mother-in-law, Alberta Bellamy Tribble and Voyd Tribble, Sr.

Cherishing his memories are his wife. Betty Jean Tribble Kinard; daughters, Natasha Coleman (James and Tekesha Kinard Sanders (Jerry) all of Columbia, SC; sons, Tony L. Kinard (Megan) of Columbia, SC and Antonio Abnathey (Kijuana) of  Newberry, SC; sisters, Josephine Crosby of Newberry, SC and Mary Helen Caldwell (Randy) of Columbia, SC; brother, Reverend Willis Kinard (Delores) of Ocala, FL; sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Shirley Kinard and Ida Werts; brother-in-law, Voyd Tribble, Jr.(Janie); a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church cemetery.  Public viewing will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  A mask or face covering is required to enter the funeral home.
