Obituary
Ms. Annie Bessie Mathis was born in Washington, DC to the late A. B. Mathis and the late Sallie Anderson Mathis. She was raised by the late Lambert and Ida Fielding. She passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at White Oak Manor-Newberry.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by an aunt, Annie Mae Bob Benson and childhood friend, Mattie Davis Tate.
Ms. Mathis is survived by cousins of the Fielding, Dewalt and Smith families.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Elisha AME Church.
