Mrs. Anna Pearl Hunter-Davis, age 81, was born November 24, 1940 to the late George and Nina Maude Hunter. She gained her wings on March 12, 2022 at NHC of Clinton SC.
Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Gallman High School class of 1962. She was a member of Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church where she served as a Pastor's Aide and a member of the Gospel Choir. She was a member of Golden Ministries along with being a beauty pageant queen contestant. She was also a member of Women's Home Aid Society Lodge #7. She was employed at Damon International for over 20 years and she retired from Kraft Foods(Louis Rich).
Her husband, Leroy Davis and grandson, Solomon Young preceded her to heaven.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are two sons, Randy (Stephanie) Davis and Darryl (Regina) Davis both of Newberry, SC; siblings two brothers, Edward (Evonne) Hunter of Newberry, SC Willie F. Hunter of Newark, NJ; two sisters, Laura Maybin and Louise Griffin both of Newberry, SC; one grandson and two devoted granddaughters, Darissa Davis and Kenyata (Ross) Peterson all of Newberry, SC; eight great- grandchildren, devoted niece, Peggy Maybin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Newberry Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. A mask is required to enter the funeral home.
