Andrew Wise

Mr. Andrew "Smoke" Wise was born in Prosperity, South Carolina to Jessie Lee Wise Hawkins and the late Lee Shealy.  He passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at  Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Mr. Wise was a graduate of Mid-Carolina High School.  He was a member of Sons of Aide #46, president Frank Burnside.

Mr. Wise was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas and Neomia Wise, three uncles, and three aunts.

Mr. Wise is survived by his mother, Jessie Lee Wise Hawkins, daughter, Akela Jennings; two grandchildren, J'huriya A. Jeninngs and John Brandon, Jr.; siblings, Rosa M. Wise, Dottie L. Wise, J. C. Davenport, Mattie M. Davenport and Becky Davis (Mike), uncles, William Lee Wise, Thomas Wise, Jr., Virgil Wise, and James Arthur Wise; aunts, Mattie, Mary and Anna Wise, and Thomasine Longshore (Mike) all of Prosperity, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish his memories.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.  Public viewing will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
