SGT. Bookman was my platoon Sgt. In Vietnam 1971-1972. Besides my father , he was the most respected man in my life. I Admired him so much. We talked allot during our times together. I was shocked to hear of his passing. RIP my friend.

My condolences to the Bookman family.
(1) I will always remember Ms. Evelyn's and my Mother's friendship and fellowship.
(2) I will always remember the times my sister and I stayed at Ms. Evelyn's house.
(3) I will always remember Ms. Evelyn's asking, "Myra why you and Roy can't get alone?"

Praying you'll be comforted knowing "welcome home" has been heard in heaven, as the beautiful memories of Leroy remains here in your hearts.
