To the SLIGH Family,
I was saddened to hear of the loss of Vera Ann, she will be missed thoroughly. I told dad about her, and he said he remembered and her great singing. He briefly went down memory lane with her and her singing family. GOD always has room for another angel.

Dr. Cassandra Sligh-Conway & Family, please accept my condolences in the passing of your Aunt Vera. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know her in years past. I observed that she was extremely devoted to family and loved you all dearly. I know she will be missed as she was an anchor and a pillar in the lives of all of the family members. To the Sligh/Weldon Family, i was sadden to hear that my sweet lady that taught me piano and vocal skills, passed away. Mrs.Vera will truly be missed by everyone that she shared her time and talents with. God has a new angel that can teach the heavenly choir how to sing and she'll definitely be playing heavens piano while they the praise!! God Bless!!
