Dear Family,

I read your dear loved one’s obituary and it is very clear that he was a giving and kind person. No matter the age, when we lose someone in death it leaves a huge hole in our hearts. May your hearts be soothed by the Bible’s loving promise of the resurrection found at John 5:28,29; John 11:32-44; Acts 24:15. I send you my deepest sympathy for your loss.

To the Family ,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. The pain of losing a loved one is a pain that seemingly never goes away. However, the pain can lessen when we think of what God has promised to do for us.
What comfort does he provide us? First of all, at 1 Cor 15:26 it says: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." So God views death as an enemy and will eventually remove death.
Secondly, Jesus gave us hope when at John 11:25 he said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" So there is a chance to see our loved ones again under better conditions.
This comfort from the Bible has helped me in dealing with the loss of my father and I hope it will help your family to some degree with your loss.

Dear Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Thomas. May you be comforted beyond measure as you reflect on the solid promise of a resurrection for all who have died. (John 5:28-29) Almighty God cannot lie, his promises are our guarantee and will soon become our reality. (Titus 1:2) JW.ORG

Barbara, Shi, & Family, we were so sorry to hear about Mr. Thomas' death. He was such a great guy. I will always remember Mr. Thomas' green thumb. He could turn all my old, dried-up plants into big beautiful green plants. You & your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Fondly,
Dan & Robbie
