Terry Dawkins, Sr.

Mr. Terry Dawkins passed away on March 3, 2019. Born in Newberry County on July 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Eugene Dawkins and the late Elaine Jones Dawkins.

Terry dedicated his life to Jehovah on August 28, 2010, and he began full time service since September 2012. His passion was speaking and teaching about Jehovah God and visiting the local nursing homes.

Terry was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Dawkins and Diane Swaney; and brother, Ulysses Dawkins.

Surviving are his daughters, Tabby Taylor (Jerell) of Clinton, SC, and Kyshon Wilson of Greensboro, NC; step daughters, Tracy Byrd and Wanda Young (William) of Newberry, SC; sons, Terry Dawkins, Jr. (Rachelle) of Greenwood, SC, Travis Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC, and Reggie Ruff of Columbia, SC; step son, Keith Byrd (Fontella) of Gaffney, SC; sisters, Bernice Dawkins and Sylvia Mosley of Newberry, SC, and Lola Jeter of Carlisle, SC; brothers, Allen Dawkins (Molly) of Silverstreet, SC, and Ezra Dawkins (Misty) of Abbeville, SC; a devoted niece, Monique Jeter Griffin (Tyrone) of Newberry, SC; ten grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of spiritual family and friends.
