Shirley Delores Nelson

Funeral services for Ms. Shirley Delores Nelson, age 60,  will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:oo PM at Boozer Chapel Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Ms. Nelson passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Newberry Hospital in Newberry, SC.  Born in Newberry County, SC to the late Benjamin Nelson and the late Victoria Hall Nelson.

She was a member of Boozer Chapel Baptist Church where she served as an usher and a choir member.

She was predeceased by her sister, Georgia Ruth Glymph and a brother, Horace L. Nelson.

Surviving are sons, Jermaine A. Nelson, Travis L. Nelson, and Robert Lorenzo Nelson, all of Newberry, SC; sisters, Margaret Hill, Patricia Sims (Joseph) both of Newberry, SC, Queen Lake of Anderson SC; Thelma N. Gladney of Lexington, SC and Evenny Lyles(Clarence) of Winnsboro, SC; brothers, Otis B. Nelson of Newberry, SC ; Johnny Nelson of Newberry, SC, Billy Nelson of Columbia, SC, Johnny Nelson of Thomasville, NC, and David Nelson of Newberry, SC; grandchildren- Kierra Nelson, Kyren Nelson, Kystren Nelson, Lorenzora Nelson, Lorenzo Nelson, Jr. and Dai'Lorenzo Nelson; devoted friend/companion, Otis Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
