Sherman Elkins

Funeral services for Mr. Sherman Elkins, age 58, will be conducted on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church at 2:00. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. 

Mr. Elkins passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Andrew Glymph and the late Mary H. Elkins.  He was employed as a truck driver.  He loved riding his motorcycle and horses, he was a hard worker and loved his family and friends.

Surviving are his daughter, KeAwana Ruff of Columbia, SC; sister, Patsy Ruff of Newberry, SC; seven aunts, brother-in-law, Robert "Radio" Ruff, two nieces, five nephews, other relatives and friends.
