Memorial services for Mrs. Shasta Breynee' Swaney will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1048 West Shady Grove Road, Irmo, South Carolina.

Mrs. Swaney passed away on May 23, 2019 at the age of 37.  Born in Montgomery, AL, she was the daughter of Mr. Benny Davis, Sr. and Mrs. Renee' Lashley Davis.  Her maternal grandparents were the late Mr. Roy Lashley, Sr. and surviving grandmother Ms. Jessie McElroy.  Paternal grandparents was the late Mr. Lawrence and Mrs. Josephine Ephriam.

Mrs. Swaney was a devoted wife, mother, auntie and homemaker.  She was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School.  She was passionate about many things, but her expertise were nail art and polish.  She loved collecting wax melts and distributed it as gifts.  She was known for her thoughtful and unique gifts.  A fanatic Alabama Crimson Tide fan, she loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Her favorite things were butterflies and her pet cats, Apple Jack and Luna Belle.  Most importantly, she was a devoted Jehovah's Witness.  Her love for Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ caused her to dedicate her life on January 22, 2000.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Malorie Buttercup Swaney and mother-in-law, Diane Dawkins Swaney.

Surviving to cherish her memories in addition to her parents are her husband, Kenneth Swaney; son, Chaiton Swaney; daughter, McKenli Swaney all of Chapin, SC; sister, Sunkist Thomas (Shawn) of Montgomery, AL; brother, Benny (Arcey) Davis, Jr. (Kashunya) of Newberry, SC; nephews, DeShaun Swaney and JaMicah Davis; nieces, Brooklyn Davis and Ryleigh Wilson; father-in-law, James Swaney; sisters-in-law, Kenya Middleton (Anthony) and Krystal Wilson (George); special cousin, LaKaia Jackson; dedicated friends, Kristen Hope and Almetta Johnson; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and spiritual family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1623 Clarkson Avenue, Newberry, SC.
