Funeral services for Mr. Kavin Earl Johnson, age 53, will be conducted on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Little River Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born January 3, 1964 in Newberry County, he was the son of Mary Ann Dominick Johnson and the late George Edward Johnson.  Mr. Johnson departed this earth and entered into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital.   

Mr. Johnson attended Newberry High School. He was an active member of Little River Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon board, Trustee board, and was a Sunday school teacher.  Mr. Johnson was employed with Baldwin Automotive for more than twenty years as a detailer.  Kavin was a humble and meek man who loved spreading the gospel and giving an encouraging word to all that he came in contact with.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife, Beverly Graham Johnson; mother, Mary Ann Dominick Johnson of Newberry, SC; daughters, Tiffany Sims of Clinton, SC; Kateesha Sims of Laurens, SC; Talishia Richard of Chapel Hill, NC; Kimberly (Kevin) Dixon and KeShae Richard both of  Virginia Beach, VA; sons, Antonio (Yolanda) Sims of Charlotte, NC; Kalvin Earl Sims of Columbia, SC; Bryant (Latoya) Sims and Antwon Johnson both of Newberry, SC; sisters, Renee (Archie) Bluford and Sherry (Foster) Hall both of Newberry, SC; brothers, George Johnson, Jr. and Kenneth (Tina) Johnson both of Newberry, SC; reared in the home, TaWanda Sims and Amy Tribble; 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild that he loved all deary; aunts, Ruth Ann Johnson of Maryland; Emma Nelson and Dorothy Johnson of Delware; Lorine Boyd and Rudine Washington both of Newberry, SC;  uncle, Larry Boyd of Newberry SC; mother-in-law, Mary E. Graham of Silverstreet, SC; sisters-in-law, Debra Bonnette of Newberry, SC; Ella Spears of Spartanburg, SC; Molly (Allen) Dawkins of Silverstreet, SC; brother-in-law, Charles (Mary) Graham of Silverstreet, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, including a devoted friend, Kelvin Hall, all who will miss him dearly.

 The family will receive friends at 614 Elizabeth Street, Clinton, SC.
