Johnny Cromer

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Cromer, age 70, will be conducted on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Round Top Baptist Church, 120 State Road, Blythewood, SC.  Burial will follow at 12 noon at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery.

Mr. Cromer passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Brian Nursing Center in West Columbia, SC.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Albert Cromer and the late Beulah Mae Cromer.  He was a member of Round Top Baptist Church.  He attended Gallman High School.

Mr. Cromer was predeceased by a brother, Ezell Cromer; mother-in-law, Marian Alexander Cook; father-in-law, Freddie Cook.

Surviving are his wife, Elaine Alexander Cromer; children, Anthony Sheppard of Newberry, SC; Jeffrey Cromer, Takisha Webb, Marques Walker, Robin Chavis, Michael Chavis and Sharlene Chavis all of Columbia, SC; sisters, Marcia 9 Willie B.) Lindsey of Newberry and Judy (Bobby) Sanders of Newberry, SC; Tammy (Patrick) Ford of Ridgeway, SC; Marcia "Niecy" Caughman and Alberta (Boyd) Saddler of Newberry, SC; brothers, Willie (Carrie) Cromer of Newberry, SC; Patrick Wadsworth of Chapin, SC; Charlie Wadsworth of Pomaria, SC; eight grandchildren, three aunts, four uncles, four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, two daughters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family of Johnny Cromer will receive family and friends on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 7:00 PM  Until at the home of Willie and Carrie Cromer, 646 Meadow View Lane, Newberry, SC.
