John Arthur Lemon, Sr.

Memorial services for Mr. John A. Lemon, Sr. age 69, will be conducted on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Lemon passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.  Born in Laurens, South Carolina, he was the son of Carrie Lemon and Rick Lattimore.  He was a member of Trinity AME Zion Church, Magnolia Masonic Lodge #80 and Sons of Aid.  Mr. Lemon was a United States Army veteran, a former employee with Cone Mills and the School District of Newberry County.

Surviving are his mother, Carrie Lemon; wife, Carrie Renwick Lemon; son, John A. Lemon, Jr.; daughter, Muriel Bettuo (Mark L.) all of Whitmire, SC; five grandchildren, Wytricia, Andrea, Ryan, Armani and De'Iya; three great-grandchildren, Trinity, Dashun and Jakobe; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
