My expressions of condolence to The Nance family. Jehovah is God of comfort-2 Corinthians 1:3-4. He will swallow up death forever. He desires people to live forever right here on earth in peace, happiness and perfection-Psalms 37:10-11, 29. Families will be reunited right here on earth as Lazarus was when Jesus Christ resurrected him-John 11:41-44. I do hope you will read these scriptures in your copy of the Bible and receive comfort.
