Jimmy Miles Nance

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Miles Nance, age 81, will be conducted on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Mr. Nance passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late James and Octavia Nance.

Mr. Nance joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age.  He was employed with Brigman Contractors and Dickert Lumber Company for 25 years.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Scurry Nance; two daughters, Keisha Scurry and Sharon Scurry; one son, Jerome Scurry (Erica); two sisters, Lucy Nance and Shirley Johnson; one brother, Johnny Nance (Addie) all of Newberry, SC; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; devoted niece, Lucille Nance; a host of cousins and many friends who will miss him dearly.
