Jarvis Latrellis Nance, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Jarvis Latrellis Nance, Sr., age 35, also known as , Rick Ross, Lil Wig and Goat, will be conducted on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 12 :00 at Turner Chapel AME Church 492 North Marietta Pkwy NE, Marietta , Georgia and on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church Newberry Sc.  Burial will follow in Old Beaverdam Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Nance passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of Willie Earl Nance and Dorene Dudley Nance.  He was a member of Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  He was a graduate of Newberry High School Class of 2000 where he was the Prom King.  Mr. Nance attended Benedict College.  He was the Owner-Operator of Nance Truckin, LLC.

Mr. Nance was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Irene Dudley; great-grandmother, Melinda Young; uncles, Tracy Nance and Buster Perkinson; cousin, Austin Perkinson, nephew, David Hill, III.

He married the love of the life, Mistie McCoy, on July 10, 2009. From this union a son and a daughter were born, Jarvis Jr. and Jordyn Kantrelle. 

Surviving are his loving wife, Mistie; daughter, Jordyn Kantrelle; sons, Jaiden Darrell and Jarvis, Jr. (TJ); parents, Willie Earl and Dorene Nance; sister, Marquita Nance Diggs (Antoine) of Newberry, SC; brothers, Reginald Nance of Columbia, SC; Phelepeo Nance of Newberry, SC; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Nance of Newberry, SC; Rev. and Mrs. John Brown of Catersville, GA; Twelve uncles, James Kinard, Freddie Lee Nance (Magnolia), Arthur L. Smith (Monica), Johnny K. Nance (Sylvia), Ricky Nance, Terry L. Nance (Bonnie), Roy Brown (Rhonda), Johnny Brown, Joe Frank McCoy (Diane), Sherman Darby, Joe Louis McCoy, Charles Dudley, James Dudley,Jr.; six aunts, Phyllis E.
