James Stefond Lindsay

Funeral services for Mr. James S. Lindsay, age 54, will be conducted on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lindsay passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of Lillie Mae Wise Lindsay and the late James Lee Lindsay. 

Mr. Lindsay was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and Sons of Aide.  He received his education in the public schools of Newberry County where he attended Mid-Carolina High School.  He was employed at Al Capone Roofing.

Surviving are his mother, Lillie Mae Lindsay; 2 nephews, Lafayette E. Lindsay and Angelo D. Lindsay; two nieces, Brendette R. Lindsay and Minnisha C. Toland; great-nieces, Tyneisha O. Lindsay, ArDasaia M. Lindsay, Ar'Mya Bates, Tamia Rutherford, Shyteriah Lindler, Jaleigha Lindsay, Shaniya J.Rhinehart, Trenese A. Kinard, Lamariea S. Kinard; great-nephews, Rayqwan Lindsay, Lafeyette Lindsay, Jr. (LJ), TeJay Kinard; aunts, Vera Mae Gallman and Sue Mae Wise; great-aunts, Martha Ruff, Polly Hampton, Evelyn Brooks and Avie Davenport;  uncles, David Lee Austin and Henry Ellis Toland; great-uncles, Matthew Dewalt and Aaron Dewalt; devoted friend, Wadean Jacobs, an host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
