Funeral services for Gloria Ann Peoples, age 56, will be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Gethsemane Baptist Church.

Gloria was born on March 2, 1963 to the late Robert Peoples Jr. and Sarah Ann (Dial) Peoples in Cleveland, OH. Gloria is her birth name but many love and know her as Doe Doe. She was baptized at Gethsemane Baptist Church but was currently attending Zion Hopewell Baptist Church both of Blair, SC.

Gloria was a high school graduate of Glenville High School in Cleveland, OH by the age of 16 years old. She attended Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, OH, where she became licensed and then served as a court stenographer. She has also taken several courses at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC and Piedmont Technical College in Newberry, SC. During her life she has held several jobs including Norris Industries, Louis Rich, Mack Truck, and in-home health care. Gloria enjoyed bingo, shopping, expensive hand bags, and keeping up her hair color and haircut.

Gloria leaves to cherish her mother, Sarah Peoples of Blair, SC; her only beloved son, Tavares Peoples of Blair, SC; fiancé Harvey Ben of the home; brothers Robert “Dunnie” Peoples Jr. of Blair, SC and Eric Peoples (Sheba) of Anderson, SC; sisters Lois Martin of Cincinnati, OH, Geraldine Clark of Columbia, SC, and Cynthia Peoples (Johnnie) of Blair, SC.; uncles Theodore Peoples of Cleveland, OH and Mack Dial of Chicago, IL; aunts Bertha Kinnard of Chicago, IL, Geraldine Norwood, Mary Taylor, and Olivia Pullom (Freddie) of Birmingham, AL, and Shirlie Bell (Sonny) of Pensacola, FL; special friend of the family, Miya Kennedy,; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who love her dearly.
