Emma Lee Foster

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lee Foster, age 83, will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 4646 Hardscrabble Road, Columbia, SC.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Emma Lee Foster, daughter of the late Reverend James Hasty and the late Rosa Lee Killians Hasty, was born June 12, 1934, in Hasty, NC. She passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Providence Hospital Northeast.

Mrs. Foster was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Bible Study Class, Missionary Board and Sisterhood Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Foster; two sons, Leonard and David Foster; sisters, Mary D. Welch, Martha George and Carrie Brown; brothers, Nahum and Sylvester Hasty.

Surviving are two daughters, Sophia FosterJordan of Covington, GA, and Denise Foster-Hart (Jasper) of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, including a special son-in-law, Timothy Coleman, and friends
