Drunell Williams

Funeral services for Ms. Drunell Williams, age 60, will be conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 12 noon at Wiles Chapel Newberry College.  Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church cemetery.

Ms. Williams passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Providence Hospital.  Born in Pomaria, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Pink Wiliams Sr. and Herdisene Williams. She was a member of the Socialistics Social Club. Ms. Williams worked at Newberry College for over thirty years.

Ms. Williams was predeceased by a sister, Franscene Cromer; brothers, Willie Earl Williams, Donnie Williams, Pink Williams, Jr. and her lifelong companion, James Maffett.

Surviving are her sons, Reginald Nance of Columbia, SC and Phelepeo Nance of the home; four sisters, Lou Yvonne Glenn and Sandy Cromer of Newberry, SC; Keyshunda Boyd of Columbia, and Tiewanna Cromer of Greenwood, SC; three brothers, Randy Cromer and John Patrick Williams of Newberry, SC; Timothy Cromer of Ridgeland, SC; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; uncle, Johnny Cromer (Sue) of Batesburg, SC; two aunts, Inez Livingston and Anna Frances Wise of Newberry, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
