Daisy Mae (Mincy) Raiford

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Mae Mincy Raiford, age 69, will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Bush River Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Raiford passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her home.  Born in Lexington, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Mincy, Sr. and the late Ever Lou Harris Mincy.  Mrs. Raiford was a member of Bush River Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Pulpit Aid, Vice - President of Senior Choir, Treasurer of the Missionary Society and the Usher Board.  She was also a member Women's Home Aid Society.

Mrs. Raiford was predeceased by a daughter, Shelma Raiford and sons, James Mincy and Charmone McGraw.

Surviving are sons, Willie R. Mincy of Newberry, SC; Donald Mincy of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; Michael Raiford of Newberry, SC; brother, Elijah Mincy, Jr. of Newberry, SC; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, aunt, Allean Mincy; sister-in-law, Angella Mincy, other relatives and friends.
