Carolyn (Pitts) Glymph

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Pitts Glymph will be conducted on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Brookland Baptist Church.  Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  Viewing will be on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 5-7 at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Glymph passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of Geraldine Pitts Lovelace  and  the late Marquis de Lafayette.  She was a graduate of Gallman High School and  received a Political Science degree from Newberry College.  Mrs. Glymph retired from the S. C. Governor's Office as a Grant Manager.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, George M. Glymph; daughter, Dana Nicole Glymph (Ramon C. Dobson) of Columbia, SC; sister, Deborah Mickey of Bronx, NY; brother, Reginald B. Lovelace of College Park, MD; grandchildren, Olivia George Glymph Barnes of Columbia, SC;  Daela Arayanna-Malia Dobson of Wilson NC; nine sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, one aunt, other relatives and friends.
