Bonnie H Nance

Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie H. Nance, age 53, will be conducted on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove A. M. E. Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nance passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of Reverend Anderson Gray, Sr. and the late Juanita E. Caldwell Hare.  She was a dedicated member of Pleasant Grove A. M. E. Church where she was a member of the Senior choir and YPD President.  She was President of the American Cancer Society Fifty Friends and Secretary of the Coordinating Committee, member of the NAACP and Who's Who of American Students.

Mrs. Nance was a graduate of Newberry High School.  She received an Associate in Business degree from Piedmont Technical College, Bachelor of Science degree from Newberry College, Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Grand Canyon University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Mrs. Nance was predeceased by a brother, Calvin L. Hare; grandmother, Jessie Mae Coleman; grandfather, Sammy Lindsey, Sr. and brother-in-law, Tracy "Bay" Nance.

Surviving are her husband, Terry L. Nance; daughter, Brittney Nance of Columbia, SC; sons, Courtney Nance and Anderson Nance both of Newberry, SC; father, Rev. Anderson Gray, Sr.; sisters, Katie C. Poole (Rev. Bobby); Dessie Hare all of Thomasville, NC; Connie Caldwell of Swansea, IL; Conji Tia Hare of High Point, NC; Denise Gray of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Patrick Hare and Obie Hare, Jr. both of Salisbury, NC; Lee A. Hare (Audrea) of High Point, NC; Clarence "Tiger" Gray of Ruby, SC; Anderson Gray, Jr.(Tammy) of Gaffney, SC and David Gray of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Addie Nance; father-in-law, Johnny Nance of Newberry, SC; one grandchild, ten aunts, four uncles, one sister-in-law, Phyllis E. Nance, six brothers-in-law, James Kinard, Fred (Magnolia) Nance, Willie (Dorean) Nance, Johnnie (AlFreda) Nance, Authur Lee (Monica) Smith and Ricky Nance all of Newberry, SC; dedicated and loyal friend, Mary Aull; numerous other relatives and friends.
