Barbara Jean (Caldwell) Elkins

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jean Elkins will be conducted on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at  12:00 PM at New Enoree Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Elkins passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her home.  Born in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late L.C. Caldwell and the late Louise Marshall Caldwell.  She was a member of New Enoree Baptist Church where she worked as a member until her health declined. 

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Willie James Elkins and her sister, Mary L. Williamson.

Surviving are her sons, Reginald Elkins of Columbia, SC; Cedric Elkins and Timothy Elkins, both of Newberry, SC; sisters, Geraldine Miller of Newberry, SC; and Dorothy Greeley of Winston Salem, NC; brothers, Sammy R. Caldwell of Columbia, SC, Marshall Caldwell and James L. Caldwell, both of Newberry, SC; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and a host other relatives and friends.
