Anna (Knocka) Frances (Rutherford) Wise

Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna (Knocka)Frances Rutherford Wise will be conducted on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at  2:30 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Mt. Hebron AME Church in Prosperity, SC.

Mrs. Wise passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Prisma Health Heart Hospital.  Born in Pomaria, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Zeb Rutherford and the late Maggie Atwood Rutherford.  She was a member of Mt. Hebron AME Church where is was involved in the Senior Choir.  She also was a member of the Ladies Home Aid Society #34. Ms. Wise worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Lowman Home.

Mrs. Wise was pre-deceased by her husband, Allen Wise Jr.; and her children, Pamela Wise and Lang Wise.

Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Mitchell of Prosperity, SC, Veleria (Steve) Haltiwanger of Newberry, SC; Ethel Boyd of Columbia, SC and Paula Wise of Newberry, SC; sons, Richard Allen Wise(Mary Ann) of Prosperity, SC, Ronnie Wise, Leon Wise, Randal(Patricia) Wise of Newberry, SC and Maurice (Pamela) Wise and  Jonathan Wise who was raised in the home; sister, Inez Livingston of Pomaria, SC;  Shakira Wise (granddaughter/care taker); 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Delores Counts; 3 daughters-in law; 1 son-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Pratt Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on January 11, 2020.
