I first met Anita over ten years ago at Vantage and enjoyed her enthusiasm at work-her positive attitude and laugh always made my day. About 3 years ago I returned to Vantage and there was Anita-that big laugh and welcoming hug. I will truly miss her very much and know she’s up in heaven looking down at us with a BIG smile on her face. The clients from Shepard House send their condolences and expressed their appreciation in Anita’s assistance moving into supportive housing about nine years ago.

Anita my friend my sister. I was blessed to have such a good person in my life. I cherished every moment we had together good and bad. You will always be in my heart. You always gave a helping hand to any in need. You are an angel and now you have your halo. I will still talk to you everyday but now through my prayers. Your suffering is over. May you rest with God. Love you.

My deepest condolences to Anita’s family, friends, and loved ones. I’m so saddened to hear of this news. I worked with Anita for a number of years at VHS, and she made quite an impression on me. I appreciated her strong work ethic and dedication to her job. She did not miss a beat. She was a fierce advocate for the patients she cared for, and I knew they were in good hands. I regarded her as one of the best! I had the utmost respect for her. She was one of a kind, a passionate soul with a great sense of humor, and so much love to give. She brought life and laughs to any meeting, and especially any party we had. The world needs more people like her! She was gone too soon. I will miss her dearly. May she rest in eternal peace and joy. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

I worked many years with Anita at Vantage Health System, Englewood, NJ. Her work ethic and devotion and dedication to clients under her care was to be admired. With a loving heart, she made a difference every day meeting the needs of clients struggling with chronic mental illness. She was SO valuable a worker and made such a difference in this world! I loved her and will miss her dearly.
My prayers and condolences go out to her family and friends. May she Rest In Peace.

Anita was my co-worker and union sister at Vantage Health System. We worked together to negotiate a contract for the workers here three years ago. In our negotiations Anita represented the residential counselors with diligence, purpose, and honor She was one of the warmest people I have worked with. She welcomed me and made me feel special and appreciated as a co-worker and as an individual. She was genuine and so very caring. I will miss her greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss, Anita and I were delegates to 1199J together. I always enjoyed our drive to Union meetings. She was such a special person and always willing to help someone when they needed it. She also called it like she saw it which I really appreciated. I will miss her very much.
