Alisha LaShawnda Stephens

Funeral services for Ms. Alisha LaShawnda  Stephens, age 36, will be conducted on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Stephens passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of Eddie Charles Gallman and Darlene Stephens-Wilson.  She was a graduate of Newberry High School and employed with J. B. Hunt Company as a professional truck driver.

Ms. Stephens was predeceased by a daughter, Aubrianna Praylow; maternal grandmother, Alma Laster Stephens; maternal grandfather, James Mack Stephens; paternal grandfather, Bennie Gallman; two uncles, Tommy Stephens and Ray Allen Stephens.

Surviving in addition to her mother and father are a daughter, Shabria Tiara-Benne Abrams; one brother, Christopher De-Angelo Gallman of Lexington, SC; God son, Kaiden Sims; God daughter, Kamaile Sims both of Columbia, SC; five uncles, Curtis Dominick of Miami, FL; Sylvester Stephens of Charlotte, NC; James Earl Stephens of Prosperity, SC; Rodney Laster Stephens of Lexington, SC; Bennie Earl Gallman (Frances) of Newberry, SC; three aunts, Sandra Goodwin (Harold) of Chapin, SC; Ruby Fielding (Herbert) of Columbia, SC; Glenda Suber (Curtis) of Pomaria, SC; paternal grandmother, Estelle Gallman of Newberry, SC; 2 great aunts, Rozelle Callwell of Newberry, SC; Ethel Adams of N. Augusta, SC; loving devoted friends, Jalissa Sims of Columbia, SC; Shana Randolph of Orlando, FL; Brooke Latimore of Laurens, SC; Tiffani Rogers of Lexington, SC; a special friend, Tyrone Love of Gastonia, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
