Mrs. Allean Kibler Glasgow was born in Prosperity, South Carolina, to the late Oscar Kibler and the late Annie Mae Hardy Kibler, the thirteenth child of fourteen children. She passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Mrs. Glasgow became a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church at a very young age. She was the Mother of the Church and served faithfully until her health declined. Mrs. Glasgow was employed at Lowman Home in White Rock, South Carolina for 46 years until she retired.
Mrs. Glasgow was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert Glasgow, Sr.
Left to cherish her precious memories are three children, Wilbert Glasgow, Jr., Bonnie G. Sims (Louis) and Wyman Glasgow (Ella); nine grandchildren, Melissa Bates-Goodwin, Lajohnda Glasgow, Sr., Moslean Glasgow Satterwhite (Mike), Stewart Glasgow (Tanisha), Ashley Moon (Michael), Ikeam Glasgow, Joshua Glasgow, Ellis Ruff (Lavette) and Teshirra B. Sims (Zack) fifteen great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Florence Stoudemire; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
