Veronica Eleanora (Hite) Maybin

Funeral services for Mrs. Veronica Hite "Diva" Maybin, age 52, will be conducted on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Maybin passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Lexington Medical Center.  Born in Spring Valley, NY, she was the daughter of Larry James Hite and Mary Joiner-Gray.

Mrs. Maybin was predeceased by a son, Michael Tyrone Hite; sister, Abigail Joiner.

Surviving are her parents, Mary and Earl Gray; Larry and Harriett Hite, devoted companion, Nelson Aughtry; daughters, Rondrick Michelle Maybin of Pomaria, SC; Erika Hite Jones(Tyrone) of Newberry, SC; son, Aaron Scott Hite (Princess) of Newberry, SC; siblings, Wendy A. Joiner, Bruce Joiner, Karen Gray- Singleton and Curtis L. Gray (Sharon) all of Newberry, SC; Andrew V. (Nikki)Gray of Laurens, SC, Randy B. Gray of Clarksville, Tenn. and Eric S. Gray of Newberry, SC; Devondro Larry Hite (Pauline) and Tonia Hite of Miramare, FL; God brother, Jermaine Houston; nine grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
