Tracy Jerome Nance

Funeral services for Mr. Tracy Jerome Nance, age 51, will be conducted on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Nance passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of Johnny Nance and Addie Sims Nance.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Mr. Nance was formerly employed at West Electrical Corp. as the Maintenance Superintendent at Oakland Mill.  He attended Newberry High School.

Mr. Nance was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gallman; brothers-in-law, Donald and Billy Gallman.

Surviving are his wife, April G. Nance; daughters, Tranesha Nance, Kendra Sims (Bryan) and Sabrina Burton; son, Markevias Burton all of Newberry, SC; parents, Johnny and Addie Nance; sister, Phyllis E. Ruff; brothers, James Kinard, Freddie L. Nance (Magnolia), Willie E. Nance (Dorene) all of Newberry, SC; Arthur L. Smith (Monica) of Blair, SC; Johnny K. Nance (Sylvia) of Newberry, SC; Ricky Nance of Columbia, SC; Terry L. Nance (Bonnie); seven grandchildren, four aunts, Shirley Johnson, Lucy Nance and Helen Young all of Newberry, SC; Mamie Young of Ashville, NC; two uncles, Jimmy Nance of Newberry, SC; Julius Young of Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.
